| New Quality Control Center |
Mark Stettler performed space programming and analysis, building design, and construction contract administration for Legal Sea Foods’ new east coast Quality Control Center (QCC). The 70,000 square foot QCC houses corporate offices, refrigerated storage and process areas, bakery, test kitchen, quality control laboratory and other spaces to support a growing chain of more than 26 seafood restaurants. The new QCC is located on property owned by the Massachusetts Port Authority (MASSport) on Boston Harbor in the Seafood District. Mr. Stettler coordinated all facets of the design, permitting, and construction with MASSport’s Office of Design and Construction, and the City’s Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA). The site is located directly over the now infamous “Big Dig" project's recently completed Ted Williams Tunnel.

Mr. Stettler led and collaborated with a design team of more than 50 professionals at the firm Edwards and Kelcey, Boston, MA to complete this project.
