Mark Stettler was the Project Manager for disaster recovery and plant repairs of an 80,000 SF industrial metal heat treating facility following an accident that destroyed over one half of the plant. The project required repairs and replacement of all major building systems. The remainder of the plant that was intact was non-functional. Within four months of Mr. Stettler’s involvement, this portion of Bodycote was fully operational, allowing only minimal loss of revenue for the company. During reconstruction and renovation, plant facilities were improved with the addition of a new explosion-proof, powdered metal handling room, 30 foot deep sub-grade vessel pit, and one interior tractor-trailer drive-in loading bay. Final completion of the building repairs and upgrades were completed within one year, far ahead of Bodycote’s anticipated completion date.
